This piece reflects the the burdens women carry throughout their lives : the expectations, responsibilities, emotional labour, and unspoken roles that accumulate over time. The subject's curved posture becomes a symbol of resilience - an image of someone who continues forward even when the load is far greater than anyone see.

Please note that every pint is hand pressed, due to the traditional nature of lino printing process, small imperfections or variations may appear. It makes every print truly one of a kind.
